The Swing of Things is a great and detailed peek into the innerworkings of a-ha. As a fan from the early days, I was expecting some great pictures and a few quotes and statistics. I was delighted to receive a sizable volume filled not only with great pictures, but also with deep insight into each member’s motivations and inhibitions.

This book was so worth the wait! It’s probably the best gift the band could have given us as fans, with the obvious exception of the ever-elusive “perfect a-ha album” that was referenced by all three band mates! I would highly recommend any a-ha fan purchase this book, or even someone interested in starting their own band. I look forward to a follow up edition in another 20 years!
