Tour reports from Brazil
The ‘Ending on a High Note’ tour started on a high note in Argentina on Thursday night, with a sold out show at Luna Park in Buenos Aires. In various interviews the band has said that the response from Argentinian fans was ‘incredible’, and that the concert was a great start to the tour.
Next up, a-ha travels to Brazil for seven concerts, the first of which is on Tuesday, March 9 in Bauru. Long-time a-ha fans Judith Heinrich, Petra Meier and Judith Fasler will be on hand at five of those shows, and will be writing reports for a-ha.com about the concerts.
Those of you who have been visiting a-ha.com over the years may recall that Judith, Petra and Judith (often shortened to ‘JPJ’ in the fan community) wrote reports for a-ha.com during the Lifelines tour in 2002:
World cup fever in Copenhagen!
Aarhus – the smallest a-ha concert ever (but only in size!)
Hot rhythms in Utrecht
Throat infection in Brussels
Vive la France – and a-ha!
Brazil 2002
Two special club gigs in Spain
Technology has changed a bit since JPJ sent us those reports back in 2002; nowadays they have a brand new unofficial Twitter page where they will post updates and observations from the concerts in Brazil. You can follow JPJ on Twitter here, and of course the official a-ha.com Twitter.
