This was the best show in my life, maybe batter then the first show in Rio in 1989. It breaks my heart to know that a-ha is splitting.
A-ha forever !
Tonight I realized one of my dreams … I’ve been waiting to see these brilliant musicians playing these exceptional songs that tell the story of my life for about 23 years. But all that time waiting was worth it. It was a magical night and during the show, I was just hoping that it would never end. I was with my fiancee. Tonight was perfect and I’ll never forget it. Thanks, A-ha! You simply will always be the best band ever!

It seems they read what we ask here. “You are the one” was asked in several comments by brazilian fans in other post. Great! Hope they play this song and “Touchy!” in Europe too, where I live. They are funny and so catchy songs and I’ve very good memories of both of them. Thanks Aha. I’m so happy the tour is doing so well.
The concert last night in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) was wonderful, the best concert of a-Ha I’ve ever seen. The audience and the band were on the same frequency. Actually the audience of Rio de Janeiro is special in the career of a-Ha. The band decided to return the affection of the audience playing the song You are the one. This song was not played by the band for a long time. This was a magical moment. Despite knowing that the band is still relevant in world music, the news that the band decided to retire made me very sad. However, moments like last night will remain forever in the memory of all of us. Thank you-Ha because you were the soundtrack of my life for 25 years. The tour is not over yet but I’m already missing all these moments. Thanks Morten, Mags and Paul! Hope to see you in a few years in a reunion tour. If not, thanks anyway. After the concert last night, I am sure you are ending on a high note. All the best for you.
I Was there again! It was really fantastic! The set list, your performance, everything! Really nice to make part of this history! Maybe not a “Farewell”. Maybe it is just a “See you”.

I’ve been in other A-ha concerts, but last night was magical… They seemed to enjoy the party, Morten talked to us, they played with each other and I hope they really got to see how we love them, their music, their career. We wish them the best! We wish them to be happy, doing what they enjoy most, in the way they choose to do it…
I can only say that their music has been part of my life since 86 and some songs marked moments so important to me… I can make a travel through time listening to their songs…
Well, just a ‘Thank you, guys! You deserve the best!’ – you have the courage to follow your dreams and you know what is best for you.
And, Morten, WE LOVE YOU THREE TOO!
Just don’t forget us – together as A-ha or in solo career, please remember that we like your work. They touch us in a way we can’t explain… and you still have a lot to say…
