a-ha to be inducted into the Norwegian Music Hall of Fame
a-ha will be among the first five artists to be inducted into the Norwegian Music Hall of Fame, located in Trondheim, Norway. The other artists being inducted this year are Alf Prøysen, Jokke & Valentinerne, Wenche Myhre and Åge Aleksandersen. There will be an induction ceremony on November 6 at the Rockheim museum in Trondheim.
The purpose of the Rockheim Hall of Fame is to honor people who have contributed to the development and distribution of Norwegian popular music. To qualify for induction, the artist must have made their debut at least 25 years ago (1986).

Will there be an a-ha exhibit at the Hall of Fame? I notice on their website a photo of Morten and Magne in a room with some cool a-ha walls– looks like something’s going on!

A great honor and pleasure it might be to be celebrate and recognized, very moving for the audience which follows you like me since the beginning of your career. Truth is I learnt exactly where Oslo is on the map thanks to your music !

Maybe when i am in Oslo in December i may try & go to see the Hall of Fame. Jo from south Africa & if i still live in Northern Ireland love from both places. x
