New Apparatjik single
I got this album already and it’s fantastic. Very different from anything you’ve ever heard. Antlers is one of my favourites, and also Datascroller, Supersonic Sound and Look Kids.
Is the connection with a-ha just that Mags helped with the album?
Magne is one of the Apparatjik band members. So this is a side project in which he participates fully, similar to Paul’s other band Savoy.
The other members of Apparatjik are Guy Berryman (Coldplay), Jonas Bjerre (Mew) and Grammy Award winning producer Martin Terefe (who has worked with a-ha, Jason Mraz, Train and many more).
Sorry, but I think here is the place to see news from a-ha… :/
It’s absolutely the right place for this news as its a side project from a member of a-ha so of course its going to be mentioned on their website..just as any solo material would be.
Thanks for posting the info..i would have missed it otherwise!
Thanks so much, Catherine – definitely want to check that out! Now that the band is breaking up (…moment of silence…) I want to hear about their other projects so thanks for posting this! I’m in Canada and hear nothing about a-ha – I have to rely on this site to know what’s going on.
Thank you for this link
Is anyone else having problems downloading the free single, I’m getting about 2% of the download then being advised its a corrupt file and that ends any download attempt.
The files have been re-zipped and tested. Please email info@eyeoncommittee.com if you need the download link again.
