‘Butterfly, Butterfly (The Last Hurrah)’ premieres

Er zijn verschillende updates vandaag over a-ha’s laatste single, ‘Butterfly, Butterfly (The Last Hurrah)’.
De single werd vorige week in Noorwegen uitgebracht en debuteerde in het Noorse singles hitlijst van deze week op # 13. Het nummer blijft stijgen in de airplay hitlijst in Noorwegen, deze week bereikte het # 6.
Morgen zal de single haar radiopremière in het VK hebben in de Ken Bruce show op Radio 2. De uitzending is voor een week nadat het uitgezonden is online beschikbaar dus als je niet in de gelegenheid bent om het live te luisteren is er altijd nog gelegenheid om het in de komende dagen online te beluisteren.
Fans in Boedapest, Hongarije waren de eersten die a-ha’s ‘Butterfly Butterfly’ live in concert konden horen tijdens hun optreden gisteravond op Papp László Sportarena. A-ha openden hun set met de nieuwe single, en er zijn een paar videoclips van op YouTube.
Over video’s gesproken, als je a-ha.com op Twitter volgt of nieuwtjes controleert op deze home pagina, weet je al dat de video voor ‘Butterfly, Butterfly’ eerder deze week werd gefilmd in Engeland, met regisseur Steve Barron. Als de regisseur van zeven van de vroege a-ha video’s, met inbegrip van hun baanbrekende videoclip van “Take On Me” vijfentwintig jaar geleden, lijkt de betrokkenheid van Steve Barron bij de definitieve a-ha’s video passend – en niet te vergeten opwindend – in de ogen van veel fans. We hebben nog geen informatie over de release datum voor de video, maar we zullen dit zeker posten zo snel als wij het weten.

And do not know why these people’re complaining, A-ha deichar does everything to his fans happy, good songs, the kind that you has :::::: And then butterfly, Butterfly is a great song. They should not complain because it also has discs and Hunting High and Low Scoundrel Days deluxe version, with some / other songs that had not been previously released, and A-ha ’25 ‘with its various successes.

The MVs of A-ha are always surprising and inspiring. The perfect songs from A-ha + Perfect visual presentation = Perfect MVs!
Hope that there will be a collection DVD or BD for all the MVs.

Can’t wait to see this video. I reckon it will be a while before we do see it though – post production will take time maybe?
This has been a great year for a-ha releases and I am thankful but I will never understand why the record companies don’t want to promote releases. The deluxe editions could easily make the UK top 40 album chart after FOTM got to number 5. I can see that the band themselves cannot do promotion but something in the press would be good to let people know the albums exist. When I walked into HMV I expected to see the albums at the front of store but they had a few copies filed under ‘A’. A few years ago the band seemed to have support from Q magazine – that seems to have dried up now.
Maybe when ’25′ is released there will be a re-examination of a-ha’s back catalogue and a bit of chart action.

Oooh, can’t wait to see this surely fantastic video!!! And I hope, one day they will make a DVD like “Headlines and deadlines” with their videos from 2000 to 2010. It would be a really cool present for all the fans!:)
