We can now confirm that the ‘Ending on a High Note’ tour schedule is complete. No additional concerts will be added, and the shows listed on the Tour Page are the last chances to see a-ha in concert before they retire after the December 4 concert in Oslo.
Last night, the band played their last concert in Russia, at the St. Petersburg Ice Palace. On Monday, a-ha start the UK leg of the tour, and will play in ten cities in England, Scotland and Wales. As announced via Twitter, the support for all UK gigs is none other than Jimmy Gnecco – who also supported the band at some of the early fall European concerts.
Update 16 November:
There will be no support band for a-ha’s four concerts in Oslo on November 30 and December 2-4.
a-ha’s final concert on December 4 will be filmed for release on a live DVD. We do not have information yet about what other material could be on the DVD or the release date; further news will be posted here on a-ha.com when it is available.
Update 18 November:
Please note that the stage time for the Oslo concerts will be 8:30pm. Be sure to arrive with plenty of time so as not to miss part of the show!
