The secrecy continues (for now) regarding the set list and other recording details, so Friday’s recap will be more of the same from Thursday. I did put together some interesting posts from social media you may not have seen, however, and I hope this will whet your appetite for more information to come!
Despite a change in the weather which moved dinner indoors, the energy and anticipation for Friday night’s recording session was somehow even greater than for Thursday night. There were a number of guests who had not seen the previous performance, and of course those who had seen it were eager to experience it all again – and to hear the songs with these arrangements for the last time before the album and Blu-Ray releases later this year.
Guests again toured Ocean Sound Recordings studio, and some even took a turn on the piano. A light rain didn’t deter people from wandering around the site and taking photos on the shore next to the studio.
Groups entered the studio slightly later than on the previous evening, and were given a similar introduction and overview before the performance and recording began. “The band is recording an album. You will be part of that album.”
As the release nears, we’ll be sharing much more information about the recording sessions, but for now here are some glimpses of the activity on Friday:
MTV Germany posted some great pictures on Instagram again on the second day of recording.
This short video clip is the only publicly available clip from the recording sessions, shot as the guys entered the studio for Friday’s performance:
