Radio 2 broadcast of ‘Hunting High and Low’ concert
On 8 October a-ha performed their first two albums, ‘Hunting High and Low’ and ‘Scoundrel Days’, in full at Royal Albert Hall in London. BBC Radio 2 was on hand to make an audio recording of the concert, which will be aired on October 21 at 8:00pm GMT. Listen live online from anywhere in the world on the BBC Radio 2 website.
Two days after this memorable concert, a-ha’s new compilation album ’25′ entered the UK album chart at #10. The album has also been in the German Top 10 for nine weeks.

Well done to Radio 2 for continually supporting A-ha. Always playing their singles over the second part of their career when other radio stations ignore them. I was delighted that Radio 2 played the Royal Albert Hall concert at a peak time to re-live the best concert I have ever seen. It sounded even better! Please consider releasing this concert on CD or even better on DVD. If Cliff Richard can do it I am sure that you can too! Thank you!!!
Have loved the band since the beginning and in the depths of each album under the surface of their singles. The Albert Hall concert was just such a happy occasion and we were all ‘on the stage’ sharing a wonderful evening with a band we will miss a terribly. A-ha, the band of landscapes and adventure….fairytale dreams and shared happy winter evenings under the crunch of snow and the Nordcapp lights. Goodbye.
Yes, I’d also love to see this available on DVD in the near future.
Never stop dreaming – whether it’s that butterfly you see in summer, or that crunch of snow underfoot in winter… think of A-ha & smile.
I’ll be at Wembley tomorrow, to love them one last time & thank them for then, now & always. Goodbye xxx
