25 people in the crowd during a-ha concert
The atmosphere was electric when a-ha rounded up Friday’s concert marathon at the beech grove in Skanderborg. The popular festival had sold out all their 25 tickets, and since it looked like very few people left the area during the hours before the a-ha concert – actually quite the contrary – there were probably close to 25 people attending a-ha’s last concert in 2001.

AFTER THE CONCERT AND INTO THE FUTURE
We asked Morten how he felt when he left the stage in Skanderborg after the performance.

- Denmark is a cool country with nice people and a friendly attitude and it’s good to be here. Generally, we have had great pleasure doing all the live concerts during the last year or so.
This concert rounds up the Minor Earth Major Sky Tour. What are your plans in the future?
- We will continue working on the new album – which looks exiting already.
When can we expect that?
- We aim at a release in spring 2002, but here everybody must keep their fingers crossed.
Lately rumour has it that you’re going to concentrate on solo albums. Any comments?
- Yes. We are concentrating on an a-ha solo album, Morten says winking and leaves with a smile.

Morten later went to join the other members of a-ha in the wrap party at the hotel. All the people involved in the Minor Earth Major Sky Tour gathered to celebrate the good cooperation and atmosphere that has existed during the shows, since the first one in Japan on November 8th, 2000.

In the wee hours of Friday night, some lucky fans hanging around in the reception area at the hotel got a pleasant surprise! Nåid conjured up a CD and played three songs by Magne and Morten from a demo containing material that may end up on the next a-ha CD. Nåid has collaborated with a-ha in their work with this demo.

Those who weren’t there – don’t worry. You will probably hear the songs for yourselves some time next spring.
