Magne and HM Queen Sonja were present at Paul Stolper Gallery in London last night for the opening of ‘Texture’, a portfolio of ten prints made in support of The Queen Sonja Print Award.

The portfolio consists of four individual prints by each artist in an edition of sixty, of which numbers one to twenty are available as a portfolio and the rest individually. There are also two prints in an edition of twenty, made exclusively for the portfolio, signed by both Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway and Magne Furuholmen. The prints are a combination of etching and photopolymer, 50 x 50 cm on 310gsm Somerset White Satin, printed at Ateljé Larsen in Helsingborg, Sweden, 2015. All works are donations to the foundation by the artists.

The exhibition runs through October 15th. For more information, contact

On Monday night, Magne and Queen Sonja were at Sotheby’s in London celebrating and raising funds for the QSPA. According to Paul Stolper Gallery on Instagram, “There was a great interview with Julia Peyton Jones and an auction hosted by Lord Poltimore which raised a huge amount of money. Included work by Peter Blake and Tauba Auerbach.”

‘Texture’ is also currently on view at Galleri Ismene in Trondheim through October 23. Here are two videos from the opening over the weekend:
