Update on Santiago concert
The upcoming sold out a-ha show in Santiago, Chile on the 6th of March is cancelled.
Due to the current difficult circumstances in connection with the recent earthquake, the Chilean government has suspended all artistic activity in the country.
a-ha wishes to honour their Chilean fans and are now working on altering their plans to be able to add the Santiago date on to the end of their South American tour.
We will let you know more details as soon as everything is worked out.
Best wishes from a-ha, and our deepest sympathy to the people of Chile for the devastation and tragedy that this earthquake has caused them.

I have to say that I feel really dissappointed ’cause I’ve been waiting for this concert for a long time, and now it is cancelled. I hope a-ha can find a solution for this situation caused by the earthquake we were exposed to, and we can have this concert at some time this year.
Thanks God everything is working out, eventhough things have been terrible I know that our country and people will be better very soon. We have to be strong and help our brothers and sisters.

Como fans chilena, lamento profundamente y nos duele en el alma todo lo que ha acontecido en nuestro pais, como seres humanos todos estamos devastados y dolidos ante tanta perdida humana y material … .. las imagenes que muestran en television no son nada comparados con estar alli y ver tanta destruccion, no somos nada frente al poder de la naturaleza … Como fans de A-ha queremos reafirmar ante nuestros idolos nordicos que seguimos fieles con ellos, deleitandonos con su musica, vibrando con sus melodias y viviendo nuestro dia a dia, entremezclados con sus compases, si es verdad, estamos tristes, pero nuestra tristeza tambien puede ser alegria si A-ha decide finalmente volver a pisar suelo chileno, los estaremos esperando con nuestros corazones abiertos, nuestras mentes dispuestas y con toda la energia que nuestro pais y nosotros como fans podemos darle … … ha sido un golpe duro pero estamos confiados que saldremos adelante…. frente a la adversidad … … A-ha no nos defraudes !! estamos esperando con ansias ese elixir de musica, ese manjar, ese balsamo que es su musica, melodia que llegara a nuestros corazones y nos inundara de alegria y energia positiva … …
Thank you a-ha for giving us hope to see you in another date. No one would like to visit a country under such circumstances and you guys are willing to do so. We are having a very bad time but we are strong, we’ll come out from this as we have always have, things are starting to work.

I am a Chilean fan. The earthquake was the 7º strongest earthquake in the world history. We hope that you will finish the southamerica tour in Chile, because if this is your last tour, we will never see you again.
Please, come to Chile. This is your last concert, and we only want to see you and listen your excellent songs. You are my favorite pop group, I always follow you in all the concerts that you give in Chile. I love you a lot A-HA, and we are waiting…

mi nombre es carlos y soy de buenos aires argentina y he asistido al recital, la verdad me emociono mucho, Hermanos chilenos Magne dio un pequeño discurso sobre el apoyo hacia ustedes, fue realmente muy emotivo, todos aplaudimos.
