Were you there?
Please share your memories of this concert in the comments!
“You have been as present in our lives as we have been in yours” Morten graciously told the audience of their concert in Madrid (precisely before singing Summer Moved On, video-recorded in Spain years ago.) Throughout their 25 year-long career they indeed have touched the lives of many like, for example, me or my sisters (who attended this concert and phoned me to the US, so that I, in the distance, could somehow be part of it too.) A-ha became very popular in Spain when we were still practically children and they were the soundtrack of our lives, as well as of my dreams. I was inspired by the beauty, the honesty, and the melancholy of their songs and appreciated much being exposed to lyrics that reflected, for a change, a reserved and reflexive soul, like mine. A-ha’s work still resonates with me like no other and enjoying their (old and new) songs during their New York concerts back in May was a delight. Last Thursday in Madrid they also offered a warm and impeccable show; while I was enjoying Morten’s voice, live, again (although that time in the distance, through the phone), I just felt like thanking A-ha again, on behalf of my sisters and myself, for their music and for the quality, the sensitivity, the kindness, and the class that they stand for. HURRAH!
Awesome, incredible, unforgotable, PERFECT. It was a dream come true. I’m proud to say that I’m an a-ha fan.
I love these boys, they are the best that music business can offer.
I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR THIS VERY SPECIAL NIGHT.
¡¡¡VIVA A-HA, FOREVER!!!
Hello, I`ve been there ! I Came from São Miguel – Açores, a Portuguese Island just to see a-ha for the first and last time … There are the best !
Me hicisteis disfrutar muchísimo.
Muak!!!

Dear A-ha.
I’m going to the Brighton centre concert in next month. I truly do ask you to include my favourite beautiful song “October” in your setlist of next month UK tour.
I was in the concert in Madrid, really enjoyed it, I’m from Honduras, staying in Italy for a few years so caught the chance to see them in Madrid, a dream come true, I’ve been a fan since take on me became a hit, went to the concert with my sister who is living in Madrid, we both thought it was the best we could hope for. You guys have give us some of the best music we’ve heard in our lives and I still enjoy listening to it, and to sing along with you live was amazing. A-ha you are the best ever.
Brazil was in Madrid too.
I saw three concerts in Europe (Paris, Madrid and Barcelona) besides the setlist that was the same, every concert had an different sensation for me… that exciting on the first night in Paris was… amazing! Such happiness in Madrid! And a little bit of sad in Barcelona, that was my last concert..
I’ve been a fan of a-ha since a very long time for me. I saw them live on Rock in Rio II (1991) on tv and what I saw amazed me.
Today, almost 20 years later, I can say I realized my dreams. At first, I saw a concert (Recife), that I thought it will be the only one. Then, win a competition to meet Morten, Pal and Mags on backstage here in Recife.
Then… I’ve decided to go to europe! God! I’ve never been in Europe before! Then, I saw three more concerts…
You really have been present in my life for all those years. Thank you very much for everything, a-ha!

Totally amazing!!! We all really need to thank your for this concert: despite the “little” number of fans attending it (in comparison to much bigger concerts in other countries) you did’t forget Spain and gave your best in the most sweetest and emotional farewell ever, at least for me! I was so lucky to see you twice and will always remember it, as you was -and will be- the soundtrack of my life. Your music will never die!! Take care. Will miss the band!! XXX
forever nuts yours???pero nuts no son cojones?
