What can I say? I don’t know where to start. My friend and I flew over from Dublin for this! Oh, what a wonderful weekend we had. It seems like a lifetime since the first concert in Dublin on 21st Jan 1987. In some ways it is, in others it’s only yesterday. I’m sure that’s how it feels for many fans and the band as well.
The concert was all I expected – great music, old and new, great interaction, and oh, that voice *still* sends shivers down my spine. Well done boys on the harmonies, the falsetto and (Morten this is for you) that note! It’s only hitting me now that this is it – no more live performances, no more new material. End of an era. So glad to have been with you boys through it all! I’ll continue to follow your other projects – anything for a ‘fix’. Am I biased? Yes of course I am!
I particularly liked the retrospective on the screens accompanied by the sounds of ‘Living a Boy’s Adventure Tale’ – very appropriate!
Morten, Paul, Magne, thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for bringing such wonderful melodies, harmonies, lyrics and arrangements (and most importantly yourselves!) to us, your fans, for so many years. And the best of luck in your ongoing and future ventures.
Myself and my Fiancee went to see this and we were not dissapointed.
Great setlist and brilliant atmospere, The high point was Hunting high and low when everyone sung the chorus it was amazing!!!
So glad we travelled from Noth Wales to see it now.
We would like to wish Morten, Magne and Paul every success in their future ventures and Thank you for an amazing 25 years of their music I’m sure I’m not alone in saying A-ha will be missed.
Thank you sooooo much for a fantastic evening !!! The set list included all of my favourite A-ha tracks and the boys performance was amazing,a real night to remember.
Good luck guy’s and i hope you have had as much happiness from the last 25 years as you have brought to us !!!
My husband and myself bought each other tickets for our birthdays, what a birthday present it was. I have loved the boys since my mum bought me their first LP when I was 12. We had the most fantastic time, it was an awesome concert and the best one that we have ever been to. After growing up with their music, it is really so sad that there will be no more but they will always have a special place in my heart. Hope that all three of you enjoy what you do next and thank you for your amazing music and charisma which we will never forget. xxxx
It was just a brilliant gig. I think it actually topped the Hunting High & Low gig at the Royal Albert Hall. The audience were well up for it and the band had a brilliant time – you could see how much. I had a great night, the last one with a0ha. Thanks guys, you’ve been my inspiration as a musician and on so many other levels.
Wow,what a wonderful evening! My sister and I enjoyed ourselves immensely-I will never forget being so close to Morten!! Thanks for a great support act-any friend of Jeff Buckley is a friend of mine..Such a happy, fun night-tinged with a little sadness that there is to be no more. But A-ha have left us such a beautiful collection of work, music for every mood and human emotion. I will continue to follow your individual projects most eagerly.. you have left us all wanting more-truly ending on a very high note! Love to you Paul,Magne and Morten xxx takk
I flew in from Australia to say goodbye. This concert and the one in Sheffield were fantastic, and worth every cent I have spent. I just wish you could have come to my country too, I know a lot of disappointed people that would have loved to have see you all. Wishing you all the very best in your future endeavours, keep us all updated via the site on what you are all up to. Much love to you all, and thank you for sharing your talent with us over the years xxxx
What a brilliant night, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am 5 months pregnant and my baby was dancing along to each and every song you sang, it was amazing. I was only 8 years old when you formed the group but I have been with you for the whole time, it’s hard to believe 25 years has passed so quickly, I remember the early years like they were yesterday and it really took me back hearing you sing the old songs. I want to say good luck with whatever your future holds and thank you for a spectacular 25 years. You may no longer be performing but you certainly will never be forgotten and i’ll have the baby singing your songs in no time ha ha. All the very best Morten, Magne and Pal. Morten I will love you always xxxxxx
An absolutely wonderful night!! I am sooo pleased I got the chance to see you live. Thank you for 25 years of great music, I am sad that you will no longer be performing as a-ha, but would like to take this opportunity to
wish you all well on your future endeavours.

A fantastic amazing night, really was riding on the crest of a wave and def ending on a high note. Been a fan since i was 14 and finally to see them was a dream come true. I am sad you will no longer be playing as a-ha but want to wish you, Morten,Mags and Paul all the luck in your future projects and to thankyou for your amazing music and sharing your talent with us all for the last 25yrs.
You will be forever in our hearts. xxxxxx
Loved it! Incidentally, ridiculously short notice but, if anyone can book a last minute flight, I have two tickets for Oslo on Thurs that I’m looking to sell/pretty much give away to a deserving customer as I can’t go and would be gutting to waste them……. email me at magsie_h@hotmail.com if interested…….
Wowser! What an fab night! My 7 year old daughter came too (her first gig) and loved it as she knows the words to every song! Been a huge fan since I was 14. Each song evokes a special memory of the last 25 years, including the birth of my daughters!
Sad that this is the end, but wishing you much future happiness.
Thanks guys for the music and the memories & thanks Morton for the only voice that sends shivers down my spine xxxxxxx
