Fantastic night, Thank you guys! As a avid fan for the last 25 years it was a pleasure to see your last UK concert – a great show, a mix of old and new songs that most definately did End of a High Note!

I was there! At the last minute I managed to get a ticket to this historic gig, the last in the UK. We here in Britain helped start a rollercoaster ride that has lasted for 25 years and we will always be here for all of you, boys. We love you. I love you. Thanks for another great night and thanks again for 25 fantastic years.

At the end of the gig, once Take on Me was over, that was it – I burst into tears as the realisation swept over me. But the important things for me was that I was there.

I wish you peace and happiness in your lives, boys, and whenever you want to come back to the UK, we’ll welcome you with arms as wide as they were in 1985. Hugs x

Thank you Morten, Magne and Paul. Last night’s show was amazing, something I will never forget.
I was nearly there for your first tour in 1987 but couldn’t go because of exams, finally saw you in 2002 and you were amazing but last night was something special. I’ve been with you for the past 25 years and so many of your songs hold both good and bad memories, in fact you have been the soundtrack to my life so far, what am I going to do without you?!
Thank you for blessing us with your music and good luck with any of your future plans. May you find continued success and great happiness with whatever you do next.
In the meantime I will continue listening to your music and singing along to it with my children.
If you do decide to surprise us and come back I’m sure your fans will be there waiting for you.
    Once more, thank you.

    Wonderful concert!
So glad I was there for the last UK gig. It was fantastic! Take on me really was the realisation that this was the end of the live concerts for me.
A-ha are and have always been a part of my life and it is so sad that this is the end, but the concert was electric, and they really did end on a high note. You couldn’t have had a better concert. It meant so much.
We will miss you, all the best xxx

Wow! What a concert! I’ve seen you 11 times in total and this was special. I cried all through Take on Me as it hit me that this is it.
I first saw you when I was 17 and have followed you ever since.
The Albert Hall was a great concert but to spend the final concert in such an electric atmosphere was amazing. A life long special moment.
Take care guys, enjoy your retirement from A-Ha and I’ll continue to enjoy the music.XX

Great concert. I took my girlfriend as a present. The amount of men attending, not simply dragged along by wives & girlfriends shows just how widely appreciated a-ha’s music is.

The main highlights were Summer Moved On, & the Living Daylights – fantastically delivered.

I did notice that Morten seemed to be having a hard time hearing himself – & so frequently wandered off to the sides to address this, but he was pitch perfect anyway!

The true heart of the show though, was Mags – almost all the banter came from him. It felt like he really cared that it was the last UK gig ever, & he was always the last one off stage, living the moment to its full.

His spontaneous Russian dancing was a highlight(!), so good on you mate – I know it’s been a long tour – I hope we see you all again soon, successful in other ventures.

WOW… What an amazing Concert. I was also at Birmingham and Nottingham, but this one had to have been the best of the 3. Emotional. Sadly i am not going to Oslo so that is that for me. I first saw you in December 1986 and feel honoured to have been part of your last ever Uk concert.
I would like to Say a Huge thankyou to you Morten, Magne and Paul for being part of my life for the last 25 years, not just for the music but for the friendships i have made along the way….. So many new wonderful friends. Thankyou for being so nice to me on the couple of occasions i have met you and to my 10 year old son, who is still on a high note from meeting Magne and Paul and getting their autographs. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. Enjoy what ever you have planned in the future and HUGE HUGS and LOVE to you all.

I loved it and will cherish the experience forever… thanks Aha for giving me some more happy memories & good luck for the future! xxx

That was a spectacular concert! I was completely enthralled from beginning to end and swept away with the electric atmosphere of the night. The two highlights for me were Looking for the Whales (enchanting) and Foot of the Mountain which I never really appreciated until I experienced the live version on Saturday and realised the energy behind the sound as I was mesmorised by the snowscape. Your music and lyrics have run parallel with my life for so many years now, right back to when I was captivated by Take on Me when I was 10, the video of which inspired me to become an illustrator. And now this chapter draws to a close. You will be sorely missed but your inspiration will certainly live on. All the best with the new ventures.

Such a special night, with a mixture of sadness & euphoria… Morten held “that note” so magically, as his soul was ours to share for one last time.

On the tube home, a forlorn man sat stroking the cover of his concert programme. Another man opposite us said “none of my family or friends understand how much a-ha mean to me”. We knew how he felt.

25 years ago, it was teenage hysteria. And that first concert… you know that butterfly feeling of excitement in your stomach? Well it came back every time, for every concert. Through the years, it’s evolved into a true, deep adoration & appreciation for a-ha. Morten, when you sing, we feel you. Magne & Pal, your music & lyrics have been spiritual & inspirational.

We have lived your boy’s adventure tale for so long now. We’ve grown up together & shared our lives. You’ve seen us through school (even my GCSE English essay was about you!), university, marriages, having children & divorces – always there, your music reflecting the changes that we’ve all gone through… That constant anticipation of a new album & the concerts – oh those butterflies when you come on stage… And it’s suddenly all gone! Is this feeling of sadness something like mourning? I can’t explain it any better.

You are rare, never did the sex/drugs/rock n roll stupidities that most groups do, neither were you egotistical morons! We respected you for that. It was always only about real music. So, thank you. I have loved you. You have nurtured my soul, that of my sister & maybe millions of others around the world, who are feeling the same weird emptiness…

Be happy boys & always put your soul into everything you do xxx

Flew over from the U.S. for a much anticipated show. Amazing!!

Received Hunting High and Low as a birthday gift when I was 10. Saw A-Ha at Wembley Arena for the first time at 36. Still one of my favorite albums OF ALL TIME!! Have been a big fan. This album was way ahead of it’s time.

Was thrilled to be there.. so sad that it will be my last.

Thank you Morten, Mags & Pal for the memories. Mostly to Mags for being a big crush for me as well.

Wonderful to be there for the last UK concert! I’ve had a lot of a-ha for the last couple of months- with the hmv meet- and- greet (all I could say for days was ‘OMG I’ve touched Morten!’, the Heaven gig, the Cardiff concert, and finally Wembley. At Wembley the music was just incredible, Morten sounded amazing. While I preferred Cardiff as a more intimate venue, and had less good seats for Wembley (front row but to the side) every song was just wonderful. An amzing atmosphere with a huge crowd loving every second! Thank you for all these wonderful songs all these years. It’s been a real joy to hear and see you- emma xxx

Emma, you’re soooo lucky to have met Morten! :)
Wow what an amazing and incredible night! :)
The best night of my life! :)
Sadly my first & last a-ha concert & I deeply regret not having had chance to see them live previously.
I didn’t get to meet the guys although after hearing some of their soundcheck whilst walking past the Arena that afternoon, I was sooo happy to know that my lovely guys had arrived safely and had not got delayed or something worse!
I’ve described you guys as my new friends after I shouted “Hello Mags!!” & “Morten!!!!” & they waved in my direction and Morten blew kisses in my direction!! :) :)
I have had a lot of health probs thou they all went away for one evening! :)
The support act was brilliant as well and Jimmy said lovely comments about our lovely guys as well :)
I spent £106 on merchandise before the concert although it would’ve been more if we’d had more cash with us!
I feel like I know the band so much better and I feel closer to them since Saturday night!
I keep watching the videos on You Tube as well & I can almost spot myself in the crowd! I was singing, dancing, shouting, screaming, cheering & rocking with a-ha on Saturday night!! :)
The lighting & special effects were amazing and the new arrangements of the songs made it more like a rock concert at times & Morten’s singing and speaking as well were incredible & beautiful! :)
I will never forget Saturday night and I will never forget a-ha and I will love you forever guys. Take Care, Good Luck for the future, Love & Hugs, Amanda XXXXX

This was a beautiful concert with light, colour and images evocative of the Northern Lights and reminding me of the amazing times I’ve had in Norway and of the 25 years I have loved A-ha.
I so enjoyed the good humour and the band’s very personal and genuine comments about their fans and about London being a home: even though it was such a huge venue, you still felt as if Morten Mags and Pal (“the three strapping Norwegian men”!) were sharing these very special and emotional moments with you.
So for me, it was a celebration with lots of laughs but with such a touching display of photos and
memories towards the end… It was an unforgettable night, thank you A-ha!!How can I sleep without your voice in my head?! x

It was a great honour to see you on your last UK concert (” … for the last time in history!”) and as a member of the London crowd I feel so incredibly proud of you and the fact that you still feel this is your home! Tears wouldn’t stop flowing – thank you soo much for a truely unforgettable 25 years and an amazing show! After so many concerts, especially in London, it’s still hard to take in that this was the last one I’d ever see (I had to cancel Oslo at the last minute).

So thank your for your truly inspirational music and remember one think: you’ll always be welcome home and you’ll always be our boys!

    Dear Morten, Mags and Paul!

From Ireland, I’ve been a fan since “Take on Me” Wembley was my first and unfortunately last concert! When you came to Dublin in the 80′s my dad wouldn’t let me go cos I was too young!!! But Nevertheless as like other teen fans I spent my pocket money on “Smash Hits” for the posters and song lyrics, the lastest album or single (if I hadn’t managed to save enough!) The concert was amazing! My wonderful husband got me the tickets as an early christmas present as I kept going on that I’d been a fan for 25 years and never got to see you perform live. We flew over from Dublin for the concert and boy it was worth the wait!!! I was so overwhelmed! It was a wonderful trip down memory lane and I burst into tears during “Stay on these Roads” and “Take on me”! I just cannot believe that you’re gone!!! Your music got me through my teens and beyond! I’m a 36 year old mother now, and I will be a fan forever! Thank you so much for the last 25 years, your music is an inspiration! Enjoy your retirement! but if ye ever decide to come out of retirement for an encore we’ll be waiting! Slan agus Beannacht! xx Trish

What can I say? Were awesome concert! Great memories.
I went to Nottingham Trent FM Arena to see a-ha and it was such a fantastic concert that I needed to go to go to see them to Wembley arena as well. I just felt I need to see this fantastic show and this great band again and I was lucky beacuse I managed to see them in London as well. Both shows were awesome!!! Both shows gave me great and unforgettable experiences.I wish we could see a-ha on another tour.Anyway although no more a-ha tours and albums but there is a place in my heart where a-ha will always exist. Thank You a-ha! You are BRILLIANT!
