Even without a voice… great concert! First time I left the country for a concert (and last…). A bit dissapointed Morten left invisible after waiting outside for over an hour… But al is ofcourse forgiven now we know he’s sick! Get wel soon and cu in Brussels in october!
Thank you for a great concert – the tracklist was excellent. Hope that Mortens voice will recover – but you did a good job after all!
Thank you – Magne – for taking the time to chat at the hotel.
Review:
25 years and still going strong. A great stage show, great lighting, great sound…. and Morten does not look any older… No mention of Mortens voice trouble. Magne speaking in German: “Dies ist unsere Abschiedstournee, wir sind zufrieden, bei euch zu sein”.

Think they opened with Foot of the Mountain and not Bandstand?
Sorry, I am disappointed. This was my first concert of a-ha and it will (not only because of their farewell tour) be my last.
The sound was horrible at the beginning, the spotlights on the musicians were too dark (during some songs we saw only the videos on the wall and only shadows of the musicians) and the show ended after about 1 hour and 45 minutes. And finally of course I’m sorry for Mortens health problems, but they better had postponed the concert. At a ticketprice of about 70€ I expect more (and even saw better concerts).
I hope you’re feeling better, Morten! Get some rest and don’t push yourself too hard. Don’t let anything happen to that marvellous voice!!
Avec beaucoup d’amour:

I love you boys. Thank you for all the effort and all the strain you’ve put yourselves and your families under to give us all this. I’m glad we got to say goodbye in this way. I was at the last US date and I am glad I flew out to see you.
Morten: get better, love. I will be praying for a speedy recovery.
Sending you all my best wishes from the Caribbean.
We were standing in the first row infront of Morten. I feel very sorry for him and I have my hat in the hand that he went through the show even feeling so bad! We did our best and gave support in singing (better that it was in chorus and no one could hear our voices – even healthy they sure worse than Mortens troubled voice
). I hope he is getting better soon! Everybody crosses fingers for him! Feeling bad that he didn’t feel the same. But to us it was a great evening!!!! Thank you Morten!
An amazing concert. Thank you guys!
I hope “the oil” will come back to your “motor”, your incredible voice, soon, Morten.
O show está bom,mas a qualidade do vídeo nem se compara ao show de Los Angeles,o vídeo do show de Los Angeles está mais nítido e foca melhor a imagem, inclusive na música Hunting high and low.
On the 29th of May 1993, I met my husband for the first time. After 17 years together, it was a pleasure to celebrate it in Trier with a live performance (our 7th)of A-ha. We were on the front row. We live in Belgium but it was our 3rd A-ha concert in Germany. We are both, A-ha fans. Even without Morten’s voice(this time), we had a wonderful evening. The show was excellent! We had an unforgettable time in Trier (our first time there), last week-end. Thank you very much for the amazing show. You were great, like always! I hope Morten and his voice recover so soon as possible. I’m looking forward to our next A-ha concert.;-)
A great experience of singing along!
))
In spite of Morten’s troubles with his voice, the electrical atmosphere and the band’s efforts made the concert unforgettable…… in the real sense of the world!
Here are some photos that I took on this concert:

News from Portugal fan …
What an amazing week-end in Germany, starting with a thrilling concert in Trier and ending with the most improbable meeting with Mags at Frankfurt Airport on Sunday, as we were waiting for our flight back to Porto.
Just on-time to get my ticket concert autographed and take a picture with Mags. Can’t imagine a better scenario for a A-Ha fan
PS1: Thanks Mags for your kindness. Look to see you again in Barcelona.
PS2: Thanks Luis (my husband) for offering me those concert tickets last Christmas.
PS3: For those who want to visit the Moselle valley, with its beautiful villages, castles and vineyards, don’t choose the Happy Moselle day ;(

My dream became reality in Trier after 25 years.Wonderful day ! Thank you so much ! Thank you to be there ! We’re French and this was our first concert.Your performance was touching. We enjoyed to hear songs from the beginning of your carreer till …now. We could feel your happiness to be with us. It was good to see you smiling for two hours .. Thank you Morten, Mags and Paul.
@Delphineb I am so happy for you – to have your dream come reality! Mine did too in N.Y.! I went to all three concerts and was totally enthrlled at each one. I hope you get to see them in France too. I would love to see France again and also see a-ha too! What a dream that would be! Morten does make one feel that he is singing just to us, individually, even when he is struggling to sing. He is so brave and so giving! A-ha’s enthusiasm in concert is contagious and they make every crowd sing along. I send my best wishes to them for a very happy and successful tour without regrets. God bless! :0)
Wonderful gig

I´am wondering how some people who posted above can say that this was a great concert.
i growed up with songs of a-ha, but objective i have to say: “This is the worst concert i have ever heared! (And also the most expensive). I never payed so much for so less”
I think it was a great gesture to do the concert even without a voice but for (most) fans it was not the best decision to do.
i´am a student an 120 bugs for two tickets… that hurts!!!
sorry guys; but for me it was disappointing even it was a good perfromance… i wil never get a second chance to enjoy you in a better way. i would have prefered to move to an other date…
This was a great concert because Morten, Mags and Paul did their best too…
I’m happy that they chose to do the concert because this was the only opportunity we had to see and hear them !!!I would have been sad if I couldn’t.I wasn’t disappointed to share this unique moment …
