One day off in Amsterdam before the show. Gotta love it. Against the flow, 2 meters below sea level. Beds are burning. Amsterdam stays cool. Forwards leaning and laid back. Hip and traditional. Values for safekeeping and up for grabs. Quiet crowd at AFAS live, but somehow normal as far as we know. No harm done.
Big buzz about Digital River building up. Rumblings at Radio 2. Talks of letting the river run in the modern ether, and perhaps unleashing some new material into the set. Keeping the balance of old and new. Everyone on their toes or taking a bow.
Show us the way to the next whiskey bar. God, don’t ask why. Show us the way back to Amsterdam next year. We all know why. More than you think. Less than you could hope for.
