"Våkenatt" by Bridges to be released by Rockheim

Finally we have news to share about the long hoped-for release of the second album recorded by Bridges, "Våkenatt".

Lifelong a-ha fans have known about this almost mythical follow up to "Fakkeltog" for many years; that it was recorded by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, Magne Furuholmen, Viggo Bondi and Øystein Jevanord in Oslo in December 1980 and January 1981, but was not released as Paul and Magne decided to go to London to try to make it big.

Now 38 years later, the album will be released by Rockheim Musical Archives on August 15 as a limited vinyl edition (green, 180gram) presented in a box, including a 16-page booklet.

There will surely be great interest in this album, which is often described as the missing link between Bridges and a-ha. If you want to be one of the lucky ones to add this to your collection, pre order for a limited amount of copies opens on Friday June 22, 02.00 PM (Norwegian time, CEST, UTC+2) at www.rockheim-musical-archives.no.

More information to come next week. Stay tuned!
