Celebrating 20 Years of Magne Furuholmen’s “Past Perfect Future Tense”
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Magne Furuholmen’s debut solo album, “Past Perfect Future Tense”. Released in 2004, this album was a significant departure from Magne’s work with a-ha.
The album features collaborations with notable musicians such as Guy Berryman and Will Champion of Coldplay, and Andy Dunlop of Travis. The album was recorded at Kensaltown Recording Studios in London and was launched in conjunction with “Payne’s Gray,” a portfolio consisting of 12 prints featuring extracts of the album lyrics.
"Past Perfect Future Tense" is a deeply personal and introspective album, and it has left a lasting impact on many. In celebration of the album's 20th anniversary, Magne posted the following story over on his Instagram account:
