"Take On Me" recognized at BMI London Awards 2025

Earlier this week, at the BMI London Awards 2025, a-ha was among the artists recognized for reaching 11 million plays on US radio.  What an amazing milestone for 'Take On Me' - and congratulations to all the artists and songwriters recognized at the event!

40 years ago this month, 'Take On Me' went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and we will be celebrating the legacy of the song all month long!
